I’ve been getting back into making morning smoothies for both Kev and I for breakfast. My smoothie is green while his is chocolate and peanut butter. We’ve both been trying to be more conscious and mindful of what we are putting into our bodies. I enjoy the simplicity and easiness that comes with making these morning smoothies. It’s good to know that a few ingredients help nourish both my body and my love’s.

The other day while driving I had the windows down and I was taking in the 60 degree air. It felt and reminded me of spring. There was energy the the air, life—it reminded me of the moments when one leaves their savasana (corpse pose). A string of thoughts occurred as my instrumental music played leading me to connect the seasons to the consciousness of the mind. If spring is like coming back to the body, coming back to consciousness, then Winter must the subconscious mind of the Earth. Winter is the Earth’s way to meditate. I am a spring baby and I always look forward to the new buds and green, however I am enjoying the present because the snow is just too beautiful ❄️ .
2018 apparently has the energy of the number 11. 11 is a number that hold a significant meaning in the universe, it is a Master Number. Whether one believes in it or not, the number 11 has significance to my husband’s family. Many of their lives revolve around the number and its multiples. For example my husband’s birthday is 2/11, his sister’s birthday is 6/22 and our anniversary is 10/22.
I like to have faith and some belief in things that aren’t so concrete. It makes the journey more interesting in my opinion. I’m hoping that this year, 2018, will be a great year filled with new opportunities. 😄 |
